General and technical information
The shape of these pliers has been designed to cut fine to standard nails. These pliers benefit from micrometric sharpening which ensures a perfect and long-lasting cutting edge.
The patented conical rivet of this plier ensures permanent adjustment of the joint and perfect alignment of the jaws.
Directions for use
This nail clipper has been designed to easily reach complicated ingrown nails. The fineness of the jaws and the quality of the cutting edge allow you to cut and remove the harpoon with precision.
Cleaning and decontamination tips
Eloi stainless steel nail nippers are autoclavable in a universal cycle at 134°, at 2.2 bar for 18 min. It is recommended to clean the nippers in an ultrasonic tank, respecting the cutting times and dosage of the cleaning product. For example, you can use Aniosyme DD1.
It is advisable to rinse your tweezers well after disinfection with clean water. Dry them well before putting them in a bag. This step is very important because tweezers that are not dried properly rust more easily.
Maintenance and warranty
Elitech nail nippers comply with Directive 2007/47/EC amending Directive 93/42/EEC on medical devices.
Elitech pliers are guaranteed for 2 years and come with a replacement spring that is easy to change with a simple screwdriver.
Technical characteristics
The Elitech nail clippers manufactured by Eloi Podologie in Nogent are made of surgical-grade French martensitic steel (X40Cr13) whose traceability is guaranteed from the raw material to the finished product when it arrives in your practice. This surgical steel allows you to sharpen multiple times.
Traceability
Elitech nail clippers are medical devices. Their entire manufacturing process is therefore traced. This traceability is ensured by laser engraving of the product reference and its manufacturing batch number.
We can engrave your clips with your initials or the distinction of your choice on request (allow 10 days).
Workshop / after-sales service on this product
At the end of the 2-year warranty on these pliers, you will have the option of having their spring, rivet changed or even having them sharpened in the workshop.
Spring change: €4 incl. VAT
Changing the conical rivet: €12 incl. VAT
Sharpening the pliers jaws: €10 incl. VAT
